President's Report
Our growth is exceeding all expectations. From an initial volume of 3,000 cu m when we started in February 2008, we have grown the business and now averaging between 30,000 to 50,000 cu m a month.
I believe that our wait and see approach that allowed us to change our strategies depending on the potentials we see have certainly paid off.
We have a good balance of business where our corporate governance structures are managed and driven by individuals of proven expertise and competence. This coupled with skilled manpower that are continually developed and trained to provide optimum quality services and infrastructures and machineries that offer peak performances have spelled the difference in our operations. We have augmented our transit mixer fleet from an initial 15 to 100 transit mixers servicing clients on a 24/7 basis. In 2021, we have invested in a SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES (SHI) batching plant with a capacity of 180 cu. m/hour in addition to the existing plant which is a DAEWOO DTBP-210 with a capacity of 210 cu. m/hour. For now, we continue to look at expansion and acquisitions carefully and cautiously and we will continue to move aggressively to capitalize on the right opportunities. For the medium term, we intend to set up a satellite plant in the southern part of Metro Manila.
But more than anything else, I believe that a happy and contented workforce will be the driving force that will propel 10K Concrete to even greater heights. We have provided our sales force and staff workers with above average renumerations and fringe benefits unequalled in the industry. We will endeavor to spread gainful employment to all who are wiling to join our organization and in so doing contribute to the nation’s economic recovery.
Finally, we passionately believe in protecting and improving the environment and for this reason, our operations are compliant with all governmental rules and standards for the environment. Our plant and transit mixers are maintained on a regular basis and replaced with brand new equipment whenever the need arises.
For now we are making our presence felt in the industry. The future holds no boundaries.
